Eating healthy doesn’t have to be a chore. In many cases, it can actually be pretty delicious. Some of our members shared their favorite clean eating recipes from the challenge, which we’ve compiled to share with you. They’re tasty enough to stand the test of time, & nutritious enough to take your training to the next level.
I don’t remember what it’s like to not be sore.
I don’t remember what sleeping in on a weekday feels like, and 4:45 a.m. has become both my most and least favorite time of the day.
I don’t remember a time when I haven’t been callused, bruised, battered, my skin bitten by barbells and burpees at the top of joyless Joy Street.
However, through all of this boot camp madness, I also don’t remember a moment in which I felt like I was anything less than undoubtedly capable of accomplishing all that I set my mind to.
It’s something I’d like to call, “The Beantown Effect.”
Beantown Bootcamp- n., The place to go if you’re looking for real fitness, real athletes, and real results, also known as Boston’s only year-round indoor and outdoor boot camp gym.
Though Beantown’s outdoor boot camp workouts are beautifully abominable and gruesomely effective, their best-kept secret can be found at the crack of dawn on Wednesdays, deep within the gym’s 90 Canal Street base camp.
World, I’d like to introduce you to Beantown’s “Small Group Strength Program."
The Five Commandments of Consistency (In Order to Achieve Fitness Success) are as follows:
Though shall actually show up to the workout.
Though shall actually show up to the workout more than three times a month.
Though shall work hard at the workout and maybe sometimes almost throw up.
Though shall adhere to a structured and thought out workout plan.
Though shall not quit. Ever.
